Where can I find those cool singles that were listed in the discography?

One of the most common questions I'm asked is "Where can I find all of the out of print singles?" Here is a list of sources you may want to check. By all means, this is not a complete list, but it should give many of you a good starting point.

Please note: none of these businesses have asked me to advertise for them here, and I am only listing them here as a service for WASP fans. If any businesses that are listed in here don't want to be on this list, then let me know and I will take you off of this list.

Currently, in the US, all of their albums are still in print on CD except for Electric Circus, and Live In The Raw. In Europe and Japan, these are all still available. None of their singles except for Animal and Live Animal have been released in the US. Animal and Live Animal are still in print in the US (I think) on a combined CD single on Restless records. As far as I know, all of the other singles are now out of print. And I have been told that First Blood... Last Visions is now out of print as well.

Your Local Record Store

Many local record stores will special order imports for you. Ask the guy behind the counter and they may be able to help you. Most big chains in the mall don't do this, but smaller independent stores will.

Record Shows

Most major cities have several record shows at large hotels every year. Although you may have to pay to get in, and prices may be steep, you might just find something cool.

Goldmine Magazine

This is your best bet. Goldmine is a bi-weekly record collectors' magazine featuring hundreds of ads from companies that specialize in rare and collectibles records and CD's. If your local bookstore doesn't carry it, check a larger chain or specialty bookstore. I've seen record store that stock it, too. Most of the other record companies that are on this WASP list advertise in Goldmine.

If you can't find it in your area, you can write to them for a free sample copy. (Foreign addresses send $3.00 for shipping. Sent via surface mail enclose $6.00)
